About Us
I have always loved the creative aspects of living. I come from a family background where the most valued things were those that you made with your own two hands. Whether that was vegetables from a backyard garden or a hand crocheted/knitted sweater to keep you warm, making and growing it yourself meant love.
From the ripe old age of seven, I can still remember my mother teaching me how to crochet, knit, sew, garden, cross stitch, cook and the all patience that she had. My father was an artist and loved to draw and design and plant rock gardens. I truly believe that their love of handmade was instilled out of necessity, back in a time where you learned to make do with what you had. Well, I think we are there again... back to a time where handmade is best. It's our chance to take back our own economic situations and promote those things made right here, in the Great Olde U.S.A. I've combined my love of photography, creating original oil paintings, design and hands-on to develop Pictures on Pendants just for you. Thank you for sharing with me.
